Entering the world of Pinterest, photos and quotes

Last Friday a friend introduced me to a website called picmonkey.com.

This website allows you to take a photo, crop it, doctor it, add a saying or quote and transform it into something inspirational or memorable for FREE.

Some people live for this and create something new every day, then pin it with Pinterest where it can be viewed by the masses. I thought it looked fun so I tried it and this is what I came up with.

My first attempt at creating something for Pinterest.

My first attempt at creating something for Pinterest.

Not bad if I say so myself. I picked this photo because I thought it worked well with the thought, which is some personal advice I received when I was a teenager and have felt to incorporate more into my life.

I have always liked the idea of surrounding yourself with things or ideas that inspire you, whether it’s art or powerful sayings. If you are continually pondering about good things, hopefully that will lead you to accomplish good things.

I hope to share more sweet photos with cool quotes or thought-provoking sayings when I see and hear something that really resonates with me.
